Barnaul Cartridge Plant produces shotgun cartridges in the following calibres: .410/73 Magnum and 9mm with Lancaster bore.
.410/73 calibre ammunition is loaded with shot, buckshot and slugs. The general advantages of this type of ammunition are its low cost, moderate weight and low recoil.
The 9mm Lancaster calibre weapon is, according to Russian gun legislation, a smoothbore weapon. Yet the ballistic characteristics of the cartridge are similar to those of rifled guns of similar calibre and muzzle energy. The cartridges are loaded with fully jacketed FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) bullets.
